User-Agent Header

User-Agent Header Requirement

All API requests must include a User-Agent header that identifies your application. This helps us provide better support and track API usage patterns. Note: Requests without a User-Agent header will be rejected.

Format

The User-Agent header should follow this format:

User-Agent: ApplicationName/Version

Examples

# Basic format
User-Agent: MyDomainApp/1.0

# With platform information
User-Agent: DomainManager/2.1 (Linux x64)

Best Practices

  1. Be Descriptive: Use a meaningful application name
  2. Include Version: Always include your application version
  3. Keep it Consistent: Use the same User-Agent format across all requests
